NV Interactive has just been announced as the winner of the Microsoft New Zealand Windows 8 App Developer Partner of the Year Award for 2012.
For an agency that is completely focused on making its clients’ brands shine, we have been getting lots of attention ourselves recently for our world class digital strategy and development efforts. And with it, getting the opportunity to work on some truly amazing brands, such as Chelsea Sugar, BBC and ESPN.
NV was awarded the title of best Windows 8 app developer in New Zealand for our work over the last year with ESPN, specifically for the ESPN Cricinfo and ESPN FC Windows 8 apps. Both of these apps formed part of Microsoft’s global launch activities for Windows 8 when it was publically released in October last year.
NV was also recognised as a Finalist in the Innovative Technology for Good Citizenship category for our work with Halberg Disability Sport Foundation.
NV Interactive’s Managing Director, Matt Pickering, says: “I am incredibly proud of the NV team to have won this major Microsoft award. To be recognised for our work on the ESPN Cricinfo and ESPN FC Windows 8 apps is a real honour and has reinforced the value in the approach we bring to the digital market”.
“The Microsoft Partner Awards acknowledge the very best players in New Zealand and are aimed at celebrating leading examples of digital and technology solutions that make life easier for customers”.
“We take a design-led, user-orientated approach to everything that we do. We go through an extensive process of aligning with our clients’ business strategies so their digital presence underpins and enhances their success, as opposed to digital being a separate function of the business. We are focused on the user experience and this award is an industry verification of how effective that approach is”.
“To take out the Windows 8 App Developer Partner of the Year award over the competition further validates our unique design-led approach to web and mobile solutions. Off the back of this vision, we are continuing to work with our Kiwi clients delivering world class digital strategy and solutions, whilst embracing a number of exciting international opportunities".
“From a personal perspective, this award is an outstanding recognition of the NV team's passion and hard work. It really sets us apart in the New Zealand market, especially when combined with our double Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year win in 2012".
"We are looking forward to continuing to partner with both existing and new clients to create beautifully crafted and effective Windows 8 apps”.
