We love nothing more than making our clients happy, and helping them to connect with their audience - however diverse it might be. When we are recognised as the best at using innovative technology in the Asia Pacific region, that’s even better.
We recently scooped up the Microsoft Asia Pacific Innovative Technology Partner of the Year Award for our work with the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation, at the annual Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference awards ceremony in Houston, Texas.
The awards recognise Microsoft partners from throughout the APAC region for helping businesses grow and push the envelope of what’s possible – something at the very core of what NV is all about.
Here’s what our Managing Director, Matt Pickering, had to say about our most recent win: “Being recognised as the Microsoft Asia Pacific Innovative Technology Partner of the Year is an absolute validation of our unrelenting focus on the innovative application of technology and design in everything that we do.”
“We were measured against some extremely talented and formidable competition, so being awarded for our work with the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation reinforces that the innovative approach and service we offer to all of our clients really does deliver results.”
So, what made our work for Halberg so impressive to the judges, you might ask?
Our award-winning approach was all about understanding Halberg’s purpose and brand, and then creating three tailored websites that exceeded the expectations of Halberg’s diverse audience, and of course, our client’s expectations.
The Halberg solution didn’t just have to be delivered to a broad range of users with a range of devices and internet speeds, but it was also crucial that the sites (and the AllSports site in particular) were designed to be accessible and user friendly for people with different abilities.
The AllSports website, which directly connects young disabled sportspeople with a local sport centre that caters for their unique needs and provides access to funding grants, required our particular focus and some really innovative technology solutions.
Through innovative technology and strategic digital design, we were able to create several efficiencies for AllSports users and the AllSports/Halberg team:
- Reduced workloads for staff by streamlining key processes around manual paper based administration
- A nil result was not an option: every search on the AllSports site provides a result for the user
- Dramatically improved the funding grant application process by implementing an online application system to replace the paper system and adding search functionalities.
Innovative improvements mean that the AllSports team can now focus their efforts on providing a great service to young disabled sports enthusiasts, rather than slogging away filling out forms every day – and helping people do what they love is really what drives the NV Interactive team.
If you’d like to see first-hand how NV Interactive supported Halberg’s different organisational arms through an innovative and engaging web presence for each website, be our guest:
Alternatively you can read the Halberg case study.
Of course, we could tell you all about the more technical side of things, like how well the AllSports website has been performing since launching earlier this year (current site usage is totally eclipsing the previous site’s measures), but we’d really rather have a chat with you about how we can use innovative technology to help your business or organisation reach new heights, like we did for the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation.
Because according to Microsoft, we’re pretty damn good at it.
