David Reid Homes is an iconic New Zealand brand with a proud history. It is one of the largest building groups in the country, gathering numerous accolades for the quality of its workmanship, including winning more Registered Master Builder gold awards in recent years than any other national building group.
Key analytical data began to display spikes in user behaviour and site visitation due to the nation-wide building boom and increasing target audience interest. NV researched this data further and together with the client, took a proactive approach to maximise the effect and impact of our solution.
Once we began inspecting website traffic and site analytics, we found that site visitation numbers were higher around specific days and times of the week.
We aimed to improve both the user experience and visual language of the site, adding clear information on the construction process and presenting our client’s stunning product range front and centre.
With the use of bold typography and inclusive phrasing, high impact imagery and clear step-by-step processes, our web redevelopment and response to data driven insights aims to reassure those looking to build that the process from start to finish is clear to follow and understand.
In response to activity spikes, we provided the opportunity to display targeted date specific information together with alternative homepage structures and CTAs over weekend periods, particularly where we found user numbers at their highest - taking full advantage of the pattern of site engagement that was developing.
